01 · The name

Why Arc & Anchor

An arc is the electrical part: current finding its path, and the skill it takes to control it safely. An anchor is the part customers remember: someone who turns up when they said, does what they quoted, and is still answering the phone when you need them again.

The mark brings the two together. The shackle, crossbar and stem of an anchor are drawn from circuit parts: a terminal, a conductor between two contacts, and an arc that ends in connection points. It is precise, simple, and works as well on a van door as on a phone screen.
